Who we are

resumeZ is a product of Alter AI (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use resumez.alterai.in and related services.

What we collect

• Account details (email, name you provide via login).
• Resume files and text you upload or enter (including contact details that appear on them).
• Photos you upload for AI photo / avatar generation for your resume.
• Profile and resume content you edit in the product, and limited technical logs needed to run the service securely.
• Payment-related order status via our payment processor (we do not store card numbers).

How we use your data

We use your data only to provide resumeZ to you — building and exporting resumes, generating photo and avatar variants for your profile, authenticating you, processing paid features you request, and keeping the product secure.

Resumes & contact information: we do not sell, rent, or share your personal or contact information with third parties for their marketing. We do not use your resume content for unrelated purposes. Extraction and generation run to power your resume artifacts only.

Photos: we do not share your pictures or put them in a generic shared database for other products or other users. Photo processing is used only for resume content generation on your account.

Where data is stored

Account and content data are stored in our application database and private object storage with access controls so other customers cannot read your files. AI processing is performed through our controlled infrastructure for your session and account.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only share data with infrastructure and payment providers that process it on our behalf under contractual obligations (hosting, auth, storage, email delivery, payments), or when required by law.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active so you can edit and export resumes. When you request account deletion or otherwise opt into removal under our product controls, we remove your personal data from our databases and delete associated private files (resumes, photos, generated variants) within a reasonable operational window, except limited records we must keep for legal or fraud-prevention reasons (for example anonymized payment references).

Your choices

• You can edit or stop using resume and photo features at any time.
• You can replace or re-upload files; older private objects may be overwritten or cleaned up.
• Contact us to request access or deletion of your account data.
